In 1997 a new pizzaria was designed around the brick oven at the center of the space. In conjunction with Dellago Interior the first floor commercial space was design with a full kitchen, serving counters, heat tables, refrigeratio units and customer seating. The utilities were left exposed and painted to blend into the ceiling. The entire space has a Mediteranean flavor that plays on the Italian heritage of pizza. Extensive use of glass and polished metals accent the terracotta tiles and covered seating. the Itailan tri-colors provided the backbone of teh color palate. This pizzeria is in the Brooklyn Height Historic District.
