This project involved the renovation of the facade to accommodate a new wine store. Heights Chateau is located in the Brooklyn Heights Historical District. The new store front was designed to complimented the historic districts commercial character. The store front is built with wood detailing and a sheet-metal valance that highlights the gold signage. The existing paint was stripped from the brick and stonework. The stone window heads and sills received a new brownstone finish. The windows were replaced and the fire escape was stripped, repaired and repainted. The existing cornice was restored, secured to the building and painted
